The Complete Training to Become a Hairdresser

The Profession Hairstylist Course is a complete 30-week program designed for those who want to enter the hairdressing profession and acquire the fundamental skills to start a successful career. Through theoretical and practical lessons divided into four sections, this course covers every aspect of the profession, from cutting and coloring techniques to client consultation and salon life management.

Course Objectives

At the end of the course, participants will be able to:

• Understand the structure of hair and skin, managing any problems and anomalies.
• Apply washing and restructuring techniques, and master the basics of drying: rollers, brushing, waves and curls.
• Develop geometric skills to create styles, perms and various types of styling.
• Approach coloring, from colorimetry to mixing, up to highlights and fashion shading techniques.
• Manage the relationship with the client, thanks to complete training on psychological approach, consultancy and interaction with the team.

Course Content

• Section 1: Hair and skin structure, shampoo and restructuring products
• Section 2: Drying and styling techniques: rollers, brushing, waves and curls
• Section 3: Geometric techniques for styling and perms
• Section 4: Coloring: colorimetry, mixing, highlights and fashion shades
• Practical life in the salon: consultancy, psychological approach and teamwork

Internship in the Salon

Students complete the course with practical internships at our salons, on Fridays and Saturdays, with a personal card updated by the teachers to monitor progress.

Equipment Provided

Each participant will receive a bag containing:

• 1 set of brushes, 1 hairdryer, 2 combs, 1 spray bottle
• 1 set of clips, 2 t-shirts and the Carlo Bay manual
